Kontinent´s photographer Moa Karlberg has been nominated for the Scanpix photo prize (Scanpix stora fotopris 2009) together with Pieter ten Hoopen and Niklas Larsson.

The project ”Watching you watch me” is discovering how a photographer can get as close as possible to others, without acting illegal. I have taken portraits of people through a mirror, when they are totally unaware of my camera being on the inside. This way I get captions of people watching themselves.Since the pictures are taken in public space, I can publish them however I want to. But where and when does the single individual feel insulted?
