Waves

2009-07-04–2011-09-16

Each wave is like a person. They rolled in, as from an inexhaustible force. Sometimes large, sometimes unruly, sometimes creeping in towards the land as a whisper. It is said that every seventh wave is always greater, as if there was an unwritten law of the sea must follow. At the crossroads between water and sky the waves is playing there on game. In the small movements created by light reflections small works of art is made that one second later is gone. As if these waves are created for creation itself to enjoy. Photographer Daniel Månsson was 2010 awarded with Hasselblad Foundations stipend in nature photography for his project waves.
